1. About GoVans.ie

GoVans.ie provides man-with-a-van and small-removals services in Dublin and surrounding counties. Contact: info@govans.ie, +353 87 419 9541.

2. Bookings & quotes

• Quotes are provided in good faith based on the information you supply and are valid for 14 days.
• A booking is confirmed once we send you a written confirmation (SMS, WhatsApp or email).
• If the actual volume, distance or access differs materially from what you described, the price may be adjusted. We'll always tell you before starting extra work.

3. Payment

• Payment is due on completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept cash, bank transfer and Revolut.
• Invoices with VAT are provided on request.

4. Cancellation & rescheduling

• Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your booking at no charge.
• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% call-out fee to cover the reserved slot.
• No-shows may be charged the full quoted fee.

5. What we won't transport

• Hazardous / flammable / explosive materials.
• Illegal goods, drugs, or firearms.
• Live animals (except in agreed conditions).
• Cash, jewellery, or documents of significant value — please carry these yourself.

6. Liability & insurance

We carry public liability and goods-in-transit insurance and handle every item with reasonable care. That said, please note:

• You should point out fragile or high-value items before we load them so we can pack them safely.
• Items packed by the customer (rather than by us) are transported at the customer's risk.
• Claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing to info@govans.ie within 7 days of the job.
• Our maximum liability for any single job is limited to the price paid for that job unless negligence is proven.
• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, restricted parking or third-party actions outside our control.

7. Access & parking

You are responsible for ensuring safe, legal parking at both the pickup and drop-off addresses. If a permit is needed (Dublin City Council loading bay etc.) please arrange it in advance. Parking fines incurred due to unavailable customer access may be passed on.

8. Use of the website

• Content on govans.ie is provided for information and may change without notice.
• Do not use the site to send spam, harvest data, or interfere with its operation.
• The GoVans.ie name, logo and branding are property of the business and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
